ABOUT THE AUTHOR

My partner and I have been homeschooling our children for 10 years, covering grades pre-K through high school, and have experimented with a variety of homeschooling methods and techniques.  I have experience with New York State homeschooling regulations and reports. I am self-taught in the field of alternative education, including various types of homeschooling, and have been researching these topics for the last 17 years. My 12 years of working at a community college have provided me with a good deal of insight into the problems that today's traditional students face while attending school.
